Ruby came to live with me in March of 1998 when I was living in the shed and building the Steading. I offered to look after her for two months whilst some friends were away and she decided to stay. I'm pretty pleased about that as she is just too gorgeous and does an awesome job of running the show. Rubes is now fifteen years young and loving life. Ruby is a Wire Haired Fox Terrier.

I am very sad to say that Ruby passed away on Tuesday morning the 30th of October 2007. She was a much loved dog and will be missed hugely. RIP Ruby Rubster.
